Workplace English Language and Literacy (WELL) Initiative

The Department of Education, Employment Workplace Relations (DEEWR) offers customisable English Language and Literacy training to fit the needs of your workplace.

Futurum Communication is one of Australia's most active WELL Providers with capability to deliver WELL training in every state and territory.

The WELL program encourage enterprises to undertake training by providing funding for a high percentage of the total project costs.

Funding is available for three types of projects:
• Training
• Resource development projects
• National projects

Where WELL funded training has been undertaken, enterprises have reported:

• Better workplace skills
• More effective communication
• Increased involvement in training and skill development programs
• Improved occupational health and safety
• Increased productivity

What industries are suitable?

As long as Futurum can present a sound business case all industries are eligible to apply for the funding to undertake communication training. Industries that are commonly represented in WELL applications include:
• Manufacturing
• Infrastructure
• Aged care
• Hospitality
• Mining
• Construction
