Start your Career in Child Care Now Futurum’s Certificate III in Children’s Services (CHC30708) is designed to develop the knowledge and skills required to work safely and effectively with young children. Futurum’s Certificate III in Children’s Services is an entry level qualification in the child care industry. This program will enable you to: • Gain the required knowledge and experience to begin working as a Child Care Assistant, Family Day care worker in different child care related fields. • Build both theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for the provision of care and education for infants and young children. • Gain experience to use organizational policies, procedures and individual children’s profiles to plan activities and provide care to young children. • Build a skill set to facilitate leisure and play thus enabling young children to achieve their developmental goals. • Provide experiences that support a child’s play and learning. • Increase your skills to ensure occupational health and safety is applied, care for babies. • Provide physical, social, emotional, psychological, language and creative development of children. • Work effectively with families in caring for their child.
