Futurum’s Certificate III in Children’s Services is an entry level qualification in the child care industry. This program will enable you to: • Gain the required knowledge and experience to begin working as a Child Care Assistant, Family Day care worker in different child care related fields. • Build both theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for the provision of care and education for infants and young children. • Gain experience to use organizational policies, procedures and individual children’s profiles to plan activities and provide care to young children. • Build a skill set to facilitate leisure and play thus enabling young children to achieve their developmental goals. • Provide experiences that support a child’s play and learning. • Increase your skills to ensure occupational health and safety is applied, care for babies. • Provide physical, social, emotional, psychological, language and creative development of children. • Work effectively with families in caring for their child.
